As the night falls

I sat in my hotel window one day, watching the day light dims and the night falls. It was so captivating to see the city lights flicker on like fire flies in a huge concrete field. I decided to set up my camera the next day to capture a time laps. But after I looked at the result for a while, I started to think how I can put the feeling of observing a dynamic and living city into a single frame. The result is a carefully blended image that fades from day light to nightfall.
