Although it is a very nice picture,and does deserve the prize, I do agree with Matt Fitt, and did comment on all the Asian pictures that end up winning in the travel category. The photographer (mostly a man) usually has an advantage due to his familiarity with his surrounding and the ease of interraction with his compatriots. These photos are exotic to our western eyes. I wonder if a magnificent picture taken in New York by a Californian would have the same chance.

Wonderful photo!
It does seem ironic, however, that the winning photo in the Travel category was taken in the photographer's home town.

The legs on the right side of this photo - topped with the splash of a red skirt, frame this photo. Together with the lighting and the action, this is a unique and wonderful photo
