Stunning!

This photo literally refilled my cup in my hope for humanity. Honest thirst for knowledge - what great hope there is for us, if in the quiet corners of the world children still hunger for knowledge.

This tired nurse will gladly pay for a copy of this amazing piece of inspiration. Please contact me at dawolfeden@yahoo.com

YES THIS PICTURE IS BEAUTIFUL, AND I DON'T MEAN TO TAKE ANYTHING AWAY FROM THE PICTURE. BUT IF ONLY I COULD GRASP THE CHILDREN'S ENTHUSIASM AND PLANT SOME SEEDS IN THE KIDS TODAY IN THE USA. OUR KIDS ARE SPOILED AND THINK THEY KNOW IT ALL, THAT'S WHY WE ARE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE LIST OF KNOWLEDGE, OF ALL THE COUNTRY'S IN THE WORLD.

Anyone that would like a copy, email me at dunc2456@yahoo.com

In addition to the beauty of the composition and the light, this picture conveys so much - the hunger for knowledge, the awe it inspires and the interest it holds, yet there is an anxiety there too, perhaps some fear and passive acceptance. For me it is the best.

This marvelous photo should be posted in every school so the children can se how eager and appreciative for knowledge is shown in this photo. I love it!

Ryan,

This is a truly beautiful picture. It shows ordinary life in an extrordinary way.As an amature photographer I am learning how to see the world through many different points view.Out of all the photos I have seen, I like this one the most. They are all beautiful and unique. Yet yours has captured a beauty beyond physical sight, that touches the inner heart. If it is possable to get a copy, please put me on yoour list. Thankyou for sharing it with us.

I am a teacher and when I look at this photo, I love the light it sheds on these young people and my profession. I, too would love a copy. Thank you for capturing the light of learning.

Julie Hill, I would be happy to give you a copy of this photo. I am so happy to see everyone's positive responses to this photo and I would love for you, as a teacher, to have a copy and share this moment that I captured with other people.

Each individual: intent on reading; body language: taking it for granted that learning is best when shared! No artifice here; Ryan Duncan could not have arranged the flowers in this bouquet, but he knew the correct moment to record his perception of a beautiful event.

Learning is naturally gratifying and I have never seen the beauty of that so well captured. I love the warm golden colors, those finely shaped heads, graceful limbs. Love it, love it, love it. This one gets my vote.

beautifully balanced - focus of composition - swirling background against solid foreground; play of light; theme

I am a teacher and I absolutely love this photo! How can I get a copy of it?

What a beautiful, photo. I am in awe! It got my vote. I love photographs of people and this one is stunning.

This shows just how much children thirst for knowledge and how much the world need to know this. Thanks

As a home school mom I love this! AGREE with all the comments. (Susan, BPM,Sharon,) Thank yo Ryan for blessing us.

This beautiful photo is very Rembrandt! I lived in Kenya.... this is Kenya. Perfect shot.

This is absolutely gorgeous! The light is amazing, and the subject focus, and the story the picture tells - it reminded me of a renaissance painting. Congratulations!

Wonderful subject, colors, composition and lighting. A winner

wow! ryan, fabulous! they are so intent! soakin in the knowledge! what a wonderful story.

This is a most excellent shot--composition, color, and above all, subject. The looks on the boys' faces could never be staged.

What a heartwarming story this picture has captured.

To me, I call this 'thirst for knowledge'. Great photo, great moment :) It got my vote. Good luck & terrific work!

Great photo of children hard at work and learning together!
