As with most marine mammals, there is a poignancy in seeing them bridge the very disparate worlds of sea, land, and atmosphere. That essence is visceral in this image.
I can almost feel the sunshine on its face and the cool water and buoyancy it is suspended in.

This photo is to be hanged up on wall and looked at when one is feeling stressed or upset. It sure will make me de-stress and feel more relaxed. This photo captured the essence of meditation, of going deep within oneself to a place of contentment. I love it!!!
