I must add my ditto to everything said above. This is simply exquisite. I would love a copy for my wall of animal pictures. He must have been a little bit trusting to allow you to be so close.

Using black and white in this photo was a bold move that works perfectly. Sure, color would work too but what a statement this choice makes. The emotion? captured in the eye of the fox is priceless and the detail is exquisite. Great job!

OK, this is the one I want hanging on my wall. There is just something incomparable in the eyes of a wild animal. Awesome photo Jennifer.

I get the same look from my cat when I interrupt her nap, so I know this is a "for real" shot. Love the aspects brought out by using black and white instead of color film.

I do love this, Jennifer~ The eyes look alert but tender and I do would love a poster of it. :) Thanks

What makes this photo for me is how the photographer filled the frame entirely with the critical portion of this fox... that feeling seems a pure reflection of the closeness and tightness of the fox in his bundled position....the photo conveys the feeling of the subject's experience....

The expression of the eyes , the highlights and the shadows are perfect. The defensive position of the body,A REALLY BEAUTIFULL PHOTOGRAPH. PERFECTION!

The textures and detail are exquisite, as is the composition. I also would like to see this in color too, but the black and white show off the finest quality of each hair on this handsome guy or girl. I wonder what kind of distance this was shot from?
Beautiful.
