I can appreciate this in many ways, as well as the way others have responded to it; but it's also too stark for me to really like it, to be honest.

This is the best Smithsonian photo I've seen. The softness and sharpness, but mostly the softness is what separates it from the rest. It's not ordinary. It conveys a memory, or a dream. Captures a perfect moment. Great eye, Jim! If you are on facebook please add me so I may follow your work? Cheers.

Hello, i was at the santa fe spring arts festival this past weekend and seen this same photo by chance were you there?

great work jim...

Amazing color and nice shot.

I can almost feel and smell the fog. Touches something in me, something quiet and soft. Beautiful.

Hauntingly beautiful

Simple. Elegant. Captivating.

So minimalist yet evocative. This is my kind of photo, too.

Not typically ethereal - but ethereal nonetheless.

Very unique shot. Hard to believe it was shot in Sausalito. I like the color version of it to that is on the photographer's website. Gorgeous pictures there too.

Less is more. A perfect visual Haiku. A setting for my mind to tell the story.

perfect , dream work!

So calming yet thought provoking. My kind of photo.
