When I clicked onto this page, I gasped when this photo met my senses. What a simple, yet stunning image. Wonderful choice of subject and lovely treatment. Carol's comment about jewelry is right; this reminds me of gold leaf finish on many pins I've owned.

This photograph exhibits beauty in simplicity. The delicate beauty of the decomposing leaf against the softness of the black velvet is an exquisite compostion potraying the eternal cycle of life and death.

The beauty of nature. This would make a beautiful piece of jewelry. (pin)

I love extreme contrasts.

The black and gold fit the bill.

I am great appreciation of well done ads and/or photos to accompany written articles.

This lacy leaf is beautiful with the black velvet cushion.

nicely done, pkm

PERFECT symmetry~ Again, very unique subject and prove that the drab mundane has beauty and warmth.

Wonderful still life presentation with this superb golden colors. The unique leaf in the state of decomposition stands out marvelously against black b/g. Great details and textures as well.

There is beauty in everything... even death. The photographer has captured this quiet well.
