Excellent capture of both vertical and horizontial lines give a sence that the viewer is looking at a strip of film with fine grey, black and white light. Blue/green back ground's center the focus on the figure, yet still enable the viewer to continue one's eye on detail in so that the affect that the subject has on each observer becomes a personal experience.

A thousand stories can be told just by putting pen to paper as you look at this picture. Some might even have a happy ending. I hope so. Every beautiful young girl deserves at least one happy story with a happy endiing.

I also think the photo holds a mystery.

I like the contrast and the story it reveals. This picture will spark the imagination of the viewer and allow your own interpretation to unravel.

Great capture of light, mood and moment She is not "lonely" but thoughtful, contemplative- the moment just before the decision

An Edward Hopper painting come to life! You get my vote.

This reminds me so much of a Hopper painting. I love the emotions it brings to mind. Is she looking forward? Is she contemplating her future? Is she just remembering something from the past? Excellent photo.

This photo really captures the remote feeling of this part of San Bernardino County. Thank you for a wonderful photo!

Great composition, lighting and character study.

I don't think she looks "lonely" at all. If anything, she "looks" as though she's looking toward her future! Contemplative, maybe even thoughtful, but i don't see "lonely" only a single girl by herself saying i don't need anyone in this peaceful, private moment, because it's all mine.

how sweet, wonderful picture!!

great expression of lonlyness
