This I like. Makes me want to visit Havana. Love the lighting!

I like this image, I did not think it was an image for the "sex" trade, just an image of beautiful figured lady...I like the use of the depth of field you have in this image (the blurred background). The color and contrast are also great. And if this is an image making a statement about the "sex" trade in Cuba, then it is a powerful one and a beutifully composed image.

I think this is a great shot. The background reminds me of a water color painting.

As all have their own opinion on the moral texture of the image, my input would tend to be more toward the technical merit. There are very few redeeming qualities, technically speaking. The subject's left arm is awkwardly positioned, there's an extreme blow-out from the sunlit street, the poor overall tone and contrast, a very "noisy" crop, and the lack of visually interesting content. Certain;y, the female form is attractive, but her stage is less than compelling.

I join those who have posted positive comments of this image. Immediately I knew the setting was a Latin city somewhere. My response to those who posted negative comments: 1. The faded backgroung - it is an 'altered image' entry - and I think that lends to the statement I got from the photo. When I see something that gives visual pleasure my focus is on that image and everything around fades from my mental recognition. This image is a depiction of that human nature. 2. It also seems to depict other aspects of human nature like pre judgment and assumptions. All this makes this image an example of the 'photograph' as "Art" - for those who say photography is not art.

Personally, I find this photo very intriguing. The woman stands out from the rest of the crowd by wearing a very powerful color. She is confidant and is a perfect symbol for seduction.

I agree with K, this picture is about color and composition. Despite the background, the woman in red is very eye catching. She stands out from the boring neutral tones around her. I love it.

I like the blurred background. It focuses attention to the young lady in red. She may be in the sex industry or she may like to dress this way. It makes no matter..beautiful composition. I really like this one.

As someone who has never been to Havana I would NEVER had known this has anything to do with the "sex" trade. This picture is about color and composition.... your comments took the enjoyment out of this picture.

I am surprised that this wasnt tossed because of the severly blown out background highlights. Otherwise a nice image though.

Nice photo. The young woman provides a focus for the pic and even though the background is blurred, you still get a sense of the people. Gives the viewer a "slice" of life in Havana. I've never been there but I know folks who have gone. Dusty place, but the food is reported to be good. Barbara Lamb

No art influnce. An everyday incounter we would see of a women walking. We all wear red.

It's a good picture, but surely not extraordinary, basically just like a fashion shot.

How was this 'altered?" As a photographer, I am drawn to the color contrasts and contrast between figure n the foreground and the dress of the figures in the background. Great shot.

This picture is interesting because: 1. the woman is lovely and very shapely, if only from behind. 2. she stands out among the other very ordinary and unremarkable people. 3. I like women in red!

Very attactive photo. I think this is a great photo of Havana and beautiful woman body figure. I have never been Cuba and I don't have any prejudice.

Juan makes a good point. Yes, it's an arresting photo and well composed, but the background is so blurred, though artsy and it's rather sexist.

Not exactly thrilled by this image of Havana. It's not like the sex tourism trade needs more publicity.
