this picture is good. i thinks holding a cup of coffee is more good than cigarette.. in that way the hardship of the face of the subject really makes the photo more realistic.. thanks and god bless

This is my favorite. Dramatic and evocative. The photo captures both the man's beauty and his life of hard work.

Karsh fan? Great work. His face is brilliant-the shadows and smoke. keep it up.

Wonderful portrait with the craggy face, dipicting probably a life of hard work or is it premature aging from smoking. Good lighting, shadows do not break up the face. The face has good detail being in the shadow. Eyes are intent on looking. Photographer captured the moment well. The face in focus with other elements out of focus and draws my eye to the face as the center of focus and the smoke makes for a contrasting element in the photograph like point & counterpoint. Nice.

Wow. Great shot, a painting in an other life.

Very good candid shot.

His face is so hard, looks like it's been chiseled in stone.
