Why I am remembering Escher in this shot is I guess from the angle of the shot toward the ceiling at first glance it gives one pause as to the architectural content, but looking further, I am reminded of the early cathedral builder influence in this building, and what is so endearing is the brown-tone chosen for the shot. It really gives a coziness to the shabbiness that is really there. What a great place for a loft.

The painterly warmth of color makes the factory a cathedral. Despite its vast soaring emptiness, it is inviting and fulfilling. I wish I owned a print.

It's reminiscent of Kandisky - it is so perfectly framed, evoking the blending of elements that in paint would make a modern artist's career. I love this photo.

Wonderful texture and depth. You captured the dynamic architecture in near perfect lighting. I don't know if you placed that chair, and on its side, no less (inspired), the image would have been lacking without that anchor. Well done.
