A green anole lizard in Hawaii

Howard Maize (Woodland Hills, CA)

After a daylong drive through Maui, Maize and his wife, Kim, were pulling into a hotel parking space when he discovered the head of a green anole lizard "peeking around the edge of a leaf. I shot about three, four pictures, but [this] one was my favorite."

Took me right back to Maui when I saw all these little lizards in the greenery around the condos where we stayed. I thought they were unique then, but the way you have taken this shot makes them even more beautiful in this habitat than nature made them.
