american bullfrog

Peter M. Noyes (Wapakoneta, OH)
Photographed August 2003, Wapakoneta, OH

Noyes caught this American bullfrog lurking among the lily pads in a pond near his home. "It seems to me," he observes, "that the number of bullfrogs I see is decreasing as time marches on."

It is rare that I see anything posted from my home town, Wapakoneta. I do not know Peter Boyles but I have heard the name. A beautiful picture of a bull frog.

Bullfrogs are amazing and they are an indicator of the health of their ecosystems. RIBIT!

wonderful photo ... I love the sense that there is something behind that penetrating look.

My favorite picture is the egret all fanned out. Enjoyed all the pictures. Thank you, Christine
