Museum Day Hours of Operation: 10:00 am ‐ 5:00 pm

The Mining and Rollo Jamison Museums pursue excellence in regional and mining history. Visit us to tour the 1845 Bevans Lead Mine, ride in a 1931 mine train (weather permitting), and learn about the local history of Platteville and lead and zinc mining of the Upper Mississippi Valley.

Exhibits

In season admission includes the underground mine, head frame, train ride (weather permitting), and exhibit galleries.
Mine Tours are available at 10:30 am, 12:00 pm, 1:30 pm, and 3:30 pm.

This venue will accept your Museum Day Live! ticket on the screen of your smartphone and in person.
