The Zimmer Children’s Museum is dedicated to teaching people about the BIG IDEAS of global citizenship, community responsibility, and cultural sensitivity.Our mission is to make a better society through interactive learning, creative self-expression and art experiences for children and families.

The Zimmer Children’s Museum is a non-profit cultural institution located on Museum Row in Los Angeles, featuring hands-on exhibits for children 0-8 to explore BIG IDEAS global citizenship, community responsibility, and cultural sensitivity. The Zimmer is also the only museum dedicated specifically to kids and families in Los Angeles.

We are open for Museum Day on Sunday September 30 as we are closed on Saturdays.

Exhibits

10,000 square feet of interactive exhibits for ages 0-8. Free public programs offered everyday!




Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
