Home of Vice-President Thomas Marshall and museum of Whitley County history including Native Americans, pioneers and military participants. The time period covered by the museum collections includes pre-hisotry to present events in the area.
Focus of temporary exhibits will be on Whitley County area history. Permanent exhibts include Miami Native Americans, pioneers and archeology. We also have an extensive genealogical research area.
Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
