The WNCAM is dedicated to preserving the heritage of flying in our area. Visiting us will let you see planes from another era, when flying was with fabric covered planes, both built by large companies and by individuals. Other exhibits range from paintings, to historical documents.
Our exhibits are is two hangars dedicated to our mission of preserving the heritage of flying. You will be able to get close, look into cockpits, see how planes were built years ago and see planes flying from our airport.
Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
