Discover where art and nature meet in Maine. The Wendell Gilley Museum is “for the birds” and more, with a diverse collection of bird carvings, changing art exhibits, natural history videos, and hands-on programs. Watch a carving demonstration or whittle in one of our workshops.
Museums and cultural venues participate in Museum Day voluntarily. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for individual museum content or participation.
