WVMCC celebrates and preserves the history, arts, sciences and rich diversity of North Central Washington and its people. Housed in two historic buildings in downtown Wenatchee, our exhibits interpret local history from the Ice Age to the present. Special events are offered throughout the year.

Exhibits

See exhibits including 11,500-year-old Clovis points, Native American trade, Great Northern Railway, apple industry history, world's first trans-Pacific flight, North Central Washington ecosystems, and "David Thompson on the Columbia."

Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
