The Vallejo Naval and Historical Museum exhibits the history of the City of Vallejo, the U.S. Navy at Mare Island, and the surrounding region.
The Museum's South Gallery features exhibits on the history of the City of Vallejo, once California's state capital. The Saginaw Gallery features exhibits on Mare Island, location of the first U.S. Navy Base in the Pacific. The Hall of History features a variety of temporary exhibits.
