This 30-room mansion was built by frontier business tycoon Harvey Vaile in 1881. Recognized as one of the finest examples of Second Empire Vitctorian architecture in the U.S., the opulent estate boasted conveniences such as flushing toilets, a built-in 6,000 gallon water tank and a 48,000 gallon wine cellar.
Hours: Monday - Saturday 10 a.m. to 4p.m.,
Sunday 1-4 p.m. Closed November, January - March
