Home to Space Camp, and Aviation Challenge; The U.S. Space & Rocket Center is recognized as one of the most comprehensive U.S. manned space flight hardware museums in the world. Our facilities include a Spacedome IMAX and 3D Theaters, Rocket Park, the Education Training Center, which houses NASA's Educator Resource Center, and more.

Exhibits

The U.S. Space & Rocket Center has one of the greatest collections of rockets and space memorabilia anywhere in the world. This collection includes the Pathfinder test vehicle, the Apollo 16 capsule as well as a Saturn V rocket. Through the the museum there are hands on activities and interactive demonstrations that make science come to life.




Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
