Three Rivers Museum is a local history museum dedicated collecting, preserving, and exhibiting the diverse history of Muskogee and the Three Rivers area of northeastern Oklahoma. Located in a restored 1916 Midland Valley Railroad Depot just south of downtown Muskogee, the museum provides a unique historic venue for young and old alike. Climb aboard our 1940's era switch engine and sit where the engineer did!
Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
