c1820 farmhouse "restored" by landscape/Colonial revival architect Joseph Everett Chandler as a summer retreat from Boston for John and Helen (Stevens) Coolidge.

Exhibits

House features important collections of American, European and Asian decorative arts, a c1820 tavern ballroom and formal gardens, including an historic French potager garden and a Jeffersonian brick serpentine wall.
