One of the three most historic Colonial Public Buildings remaining in the United States. Completed in 1771, the building witnessed protests against the Tea Tax, the elections of Continental Congress delegates, British occupation, U.S. Constitution ratification and President Washington's visit. Open daily.
Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis.
