Original art works by 'Golden Age' artists Norman Rockwell, Maxfield Parrish, N.C. Wyeth, J.C. Leyendecker and 75 others displayed at Vernon Court, a Gilded Age mansion creating a unique alliance of art and architecture. The first museum devoted exclusively to illustration, "the most American of American Art."
Museums and cultural venues participate in Museum Day voluntarily. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for individual museum content or participation.
