Explore the extraordinary life and achievements of Mary Baker Eddy, who defied conventional nineteenth-century thinking to become an influential religious leader, publisher, teacher, and businesswoman. The museum also houses the world-famous Mapparium®, a three-story, stained-glass globe; an achievement in art and architecture.

Impressions on Paper: Discover Mary Baker Eddy’s life through her groundbreaking writing. Eddy’s story flies in the face of convention, challenging the constraints of a time when women had few rights or opportunities. The exhibit also brings Eddy’s Pleasant View study to life, through the original furnishings and objects that surrounded her.
Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis.
