Explore the extraordinary life and achievements of Mary Baker Eddy, who defied conventional nineteenth-century thinking to become an influential religious leader, publisher, teacher, and businesswoman.
The museum also houses the world-famous Mapparium®, a three-story, stained-glass globe; an achievement in art and architecture.

The Mapparium: A three-dimensional perspective of the globe that illustrates how ideas change the world.

The Hall of Ideas: A celebration of our common heritage and great ideas that transformed society throughout the ages. Hall includes an original work of art created by acclaimed glass sculptor Howard Ben Tré.




Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis.
