The Living Desert is a remarkable zoo and botanical garden representing the desert environments of North America and Africa. With over 1200 protected acres, 500 wild animals and tranquil gardens.

Exhibits

Discover giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, mountain lions, Mexican wolves, bighorn sheep, golden eagle, road runners and jaguar, live animal encounters, carousel and children’s discovery center, model train exhibit, hiking trails and more. Visitors experience an oasis of family fun!

Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis.
