Pennsylvania's most visited museum, The Franklin Institute is home to exciting interactive exhibits, including the famous walk-through Giant Heart and two brand new exhibits, Changing Earth and Electricity! The museum also features the Benjamin Franklin National Memorial, Fels Planetarium and IMAX theater.
(Please Note: Museum Day admission includes museum admission and one Planetarium Show. It does NOT include Cleopatra, IMAX, or Franklin Theater.)
Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
