Texas Discovery Gardens is a 7.5-acre organic urban oasis filled with natural wonders. An indoor tropical butterfly house, the Rosine Smith Sammons Butterfly House and Insectarium, features hundreds of free-flying butterflies from around the world.

Exhibits

Join us for the 4th annual "Dallas Green Festival" Sept. 24. It's an educational event aimed at raising awareness about being eco-friendly with the City of Dallas. Exciting attractions include whole lifestyle demos, recycled arts and crafts, educational activities for adults and kids, face painting, organic/sustainable food, and more. 10 am to 4 pm.

Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis.
