The Stearns History Museum includes a two-level exhibit gallery featuring Central Minnesota history, Research Center and Library, Museum Store, and Children's Play Room set in a 100-acre nature park. It is the only AAM accredited museum outside of the Twin Cities.
The exhibits feature the story of Samuel Pandolfo who produced Pan Cars in the St. Cloud in the early 1900s, natural history of 1865 at first settlement, a replica of a working granite quarry, an 1880 barn, theatre the shows local history films, and more!
Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
