Museum dedicated to the display of submarine history and artifacts from U.S. and foreign submarines. To perpetuate the history of the American Submarine Force. 4,700 sq-ft of display area, with models, photos, plaques, submarine library, and a file on each United States Submarine command.

Exhibits

Hundreds of framed photos and submarine plaques on the bulkheads. Near 30 display cases each with their own theme, diesel, nuclear, lost boats, foreign, Russian and submarine tenders. Reading library, public and secure with original documents. WWII Patrol report library.




Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
