    Located on the National Mall in downtown Washington, DC, The National Museum of Natural History is the most visited natural history museum in world. It is filled with permanent exhibits including: the Hope Diamond,Dinosaurs, mammals, meteorites, Egypt, Greece and Rome and more.




    Museums and cultural venues participate in Museum Day voluntarily. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for individual museum content or participation.
