The Skirball Cultural Center is dedicated to exploring the intersections between 4,000 years of Jewish heritage and the vitality of democratic ideals. We welcome and seek to inspire people of every ethnic and cultural identity.
VISIONS AND VALUES: JEWISH LIFE FROM ANTIQUITY TO AMERICA traces the history, journeys, and values of the Jewish people over 4,000 years, culminating with their experiences in the United States. NOAH’S ARK AT THE SKIRBALL is an award-winning, interactive destination for children and families.
Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
