Museum highlights the history, art and culture of the Seminole Tribe of Florida, featuring a one-mile boardwalk through our 66-acre cypress dome. Current exhibits: Tools of War, focusing on weaponry from the Seminole wars; and Surviving to Striving, Economy of the Everglades. Museum Store specializes in authentic Seminole and other Native American arts and crafts.
From Surviving to Thriving: An Everglades Economy-a chronological look at how the geographical area commonly known as the Everglades has sustained the Seminole Tribe of Florida from the mid 1800's to the present.
Tools of War - explore the Arms of the Seminole Wars. Our permanent collection houses some of the unique and well-preserved weaponry from the time periods of 1817-1858, focusing on the changing technology of weaponry and how these advancements shaped the Seminole Wars.
Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis.
