Science Central offers hands-on fun for all ages. Visit a mastodon, zoom down the 2 story slide, ride a bike in the sky and much more. Newest exhibits feature 2 robot arms the visit can manipulate and a tire from an actual space shuttle mission.

Exhibits

Science Central features over 120 hands-on permanent exhibits. This fall we will host an exhibit that combines the beauty of art with a twist of science. New exhibits include robotic arms and space shuttle tire.

Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
