At SciWorks, it's fun to learn about science! Travel through the Solar System under the 50' dome of our Planetarium. Come face-to-face with river otters and barnyard animals in our Environmental Park. Enjoy interactive, hands-on exciting exhibits and programs in spacious exhibit halls.
N.C. From the Mtns to the Sea Gallery gives visitors a tour of this beautiful state, from the mountains to the sea! From this gallery, visitors will enter BioWorks - animals from North and South America - including a chinchilla, iguana, blue and gold mackaw, screech owl - and more.
Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
