Rokeby Museum is a National Historic Landmark Underground Railroad site. It is unrivaled for the power and authenticity of its story. The 90-acre site was home to four generations of a remarkable Quaker family, 1793 to 1961.

Exhibits

Guided tours of the house fully furnished with family belongings (Thursday-Sunday, 11, 12:30, 2). Self-guided tours of nine historic farm buildings and farmstead (Thursday-Sunday 10-4). Acres of hiking trails. Picnic tables.




Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
