The Rock Cliff Nature Center is part of Jordanelle State Park. Located on the east end of the reservoir along the Provo River, Rock Cliff offers and more quiet and relaxed place. Visitors enjoy a stroll through the wetland or tent camping.
As of July 1, 11 the Rock Cliff Nature Center is closed due to budget cuts. The Nature Center will be open on Sept 24th for Museum day and the Provo River Watershed Festival. The Nature Center is a hands-on museum. Visitors can touch the displays including the mounted black bear, mountain lion, beaver, raccoon, deer, elk and 16 different birds. Park and Nature Center admission is free on Sept 24. Don't miss out on this one time event this fall.
Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
