The Rim Country Museum complex includes a two story exhibit hall, the oldest Forest Ranger Station and residence still standing in the Southwest and an authentic replica of the Zane Grey Cabin. Our mission statement is "to acquire and preserve artifacts and writings relating to the history and culture of Northern Gila County for exhibit and research".
Our newest exhibit was created to celebrate Arizona's Centennial. Included are many fun and informative facts from territorial days through to the future as they pertains to the Rim Country
Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
