Pueblo Grande Museum is an archaeological site of the prehistoric Hohokam people. The museum hosts a theater, three galleries and a two-thirds mile interpretive trail that focus on the Hohokam, Archaeology, the southwest and the American Indian. Along our interpretive trail are the archaeological ruins of a platform mound and ballcourt, canals, replicated housing and agricultural systems.

Exhibits

The museum will feature an exhibit on sustainability in the desert in our changing exhibit gallery opening the end of September.

Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
