This family friendly museum is located on the grounds of the County Poor Farm in Flagstaff Arizona. There are exhibits on the history of Northern Arizona as well historic structures to explore including a 1940's caboose, two territorial era cabins plus the buildings of the old poor farm.
The Pioneer Kids Exhibit allows young people to become pioneers in this interactive exhibit featuring a kitchen, school house, dress up area and pioneer game zone.
Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
