*Listing from Museum Day 2011*

The Philip Foster Farm was a destination point for travelers on the Barlow Road, the last overland extension of the Oregon Trail. As a living history museum, it now offers guests the opportunity to do pioneer chores and visit original and reproduction buildings.

Exhibits

The last Saturday in September is our annual Cider Squeeze, with multiple cider presses for individual use, pioneer craft demonstrators, live music and food all day. Regular admission is $5.00 per person, $20.00 per family.

Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
