The three missions of the Pacific Coast Air Museum are to acquire, restore and display historic aircraft and artifacts, to provide educational programs related to aviation, and to honor and celebrate the lives of heroic aviators who helped to preserve and protect our way of life.
Displays 34 aircraft and artifacts, exhibits depicting history of aviation in Northern California. 3rd weekends, and Museum Day, feature Open Cockpit "Climb Aboard" experiences, and August 18-19, hold our annual Air Show. We are also the West Coast Memorial location for the 9/11 First Responder F-15 Eagle.
Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
