The Old Trails Museum explores the history of Winslow, Arizona, and the surrounding area through exhibits and public programs. Admission is free, and photography, group tours, and research appointments are welcome. Our Museum Store features regional history books, the museum's annual historical calendars, and Hopi and Navajo arts and crafts.
Along with temporary exhibits and programs, the Old Trails Museum has permanent exhibits on Historic Route 66, the Santa Fe Railway, trading posts, the Harvey Girls, and La Posada Hotel. Also visit the Arizona Memory Project at http://azmemory.lib.az.us/cdm4/index.php?CISOROOT=/otmch&mode=repository for a visual sample of our collections.
This venue will accept your Museum Day Live! ticket on the screen of your smartphone.
Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
