Niagara Science Museum with its 15 specialized laboratories set up as in the 50’s, is designed to reenact classic historical physics experiments that advanced our civilization. We also proudly display our best artifacts for the enjoyment of visitors. We are participating in pupil science education for schools in the area.
It is unbelievably rewarding to see a 9-year-old engaged for long time in “philosophical discussion” of some science experiment. Feeling that he/she left with a lot of questions that they will try to resolve brings immense satisfaction to myself and my small, devoted group of volunteers.
Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
