The Pharmacy Museum is housed in the 1823 Creole townhouse and apothecary of Louis Dufilho, America's first licensed pharmacist. Two floors of exhibits showcase 19th century pharmacy, medicine and healthcare with a special focus on Louisiana history.

Exhibits

"Aqua Vitale" - special exhibit that follows the history of alcohol in medicine.




Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis.
