Neuberger Museum of Art, Purchase College, presents more than a dozen changing and ongoing exhibitions of contemporary, modern and African art annually. The core of the permanent collection, a gift by financier Roy R. Neuberger, includes works of art by Bearden, Hopper, O'Keeffe, Pollock, and Rothko, among others.
DANA SCHUTZ: IF THE FACE HAD WHEELS / SEPTEMBER 24-DECEMBER 10, 2011 / Highly-acclaimed painter Dana Schutz combines fantasy and reality, humor and horror, to create figurative paintings that abound with expressionist energy. She is one of the most talked about painters of the last decade.
Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis.
