The Museum of Discovery is a world of discovery for all ages; over 25,000 square feet of exhibits and activities that ignite a passion for science, technology and math in an interactive environment.
On Museum Day, September 25, visitors will enjoy:
* HARRY'S BIG ADVENTURE, an exhibit that allows visitors to see the world through a praying mantis' eyes
* ELECTRICITY UNPLUGGED, a special event that explores electronics and circuitry
* PERMAMENT EXHIBITS on topics such as energy, Native Americans, forestry, BugZoo and more
Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis. Smithsonian magazine encourages museum visitation, but is not responsible for and does not endorse the content of the participating museums and cultural venues, and does not subsidize museums that participate.
