The museum’s collection of artifacts, photographs, and documents represents the unique industrial heritage of Franklin County’s 26 towns and the neighboring town of Athol--telling a story of local, national, and international significance. Family-friendly activities at an historic site along the Green River.

Exhibits

"Industry & Innovation: Franklin County’s Unique Story," tells the story of two centuries of innovation--at its heart, it’s a story about people and families. "Technology, Transportation, and Trade" explores the history of industrial activity and its impact on small towns near Greenfield.

Participation in Museum Day is open to any tax-exempt or governmental museum or cultural venue on a voluntary basis.
